Basic Workshops on Central Principles of Teaching and Learning
You are a foreign lecturer teaching at a university in NRW? Wondering about the best strategies to enhance student learning? Then you are welcome to join Hochschuldidaktik NRW in Central Principles of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education – a series of four workshops on basics in higher education didactics.
Four online-courses will be offered in autumn 2023. They will be credited in the qualification program Professional Teaching Competence for Universities:
• Teaching and Learning – 30 October 2023, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
• Examining and Assessing – 13 November 2023, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
• Guiding Students – 20 November 2023, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
• Feedback – 27 November 2023, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
The workshops are credited, online and for free! Detailed information on each workshop and on the registration process is provided in the flyer.
You are welcome to register for all or just selected workshops. Registration is limited to 20 persons per workshop. Early registration is recommended since places will be assigned according to the time of registration. Registration deadline is the Friday before each workshop at noon.
